Encore is hard to miss in the milkroom. Somehow she has decided that eating grain requires her to chew on the grain dish at the same time - never had another goat eat like this. But she has earned the right to eat however she wants to. Encore is the second of four full sisters from Reggae and Resolve - and the second to finish her Championship. Encore gets her mammary system strengths from her Dam while also improving in length, strength of rear pasterns and overall strength of dairyness from her mom.
2019: Encore surprised us all by winning the yearling milker class with second place udder at Nationals. She went on to finish the year with 2 legs towards her GCH, her milking star, and a VVVV 87 appraisal score. We will breed her to GCH Olentangy Andretti Accolade.
2020: Encore had a buck and doe this spring - both will be retained. In our abbreviated show season, Encore finished her championship, was 1x BOB, & 4x Res. She and Grandiosa continued to swap places in the two-year old class. Encore also milked 3172# in 312 days as a second freshener. We will breed Encore to Colquitt's Andretti.
2021: Encore had triplets this year 1 buck and 2 does - both does will be retained. Encore found her way back in the top 5 at nationals placing 5th as a 3-year old in Louisville. Then was 3x BOB the rest of the show season. She also scored 91 VEEE at our appraisal session in October. We are really happy with how Encore is maturing. She will be bred to our new Jr herd sire, Olentangy Chimay Trademark, this fall.
2022: Encore aborted this spring two weeks early but came into pretty decent milk and she was still able to have a full lactation. Her show record was 1x GCH, 2x BOB, 2x BUOB, and her first two Best in Show wins. She carried a lot of weight this year due to the rough kidding but was still able to place 8th at Nationals. We have two daughters in our herd - Fanfare who finished her championship this year, and Revelrie who freshened with a really pretty udder as a yearling this year. Encore will be rebred to Olentangy Chimay Trademark this fall.
