Cavetina is an extremely correct doe with the flashy coloring to go with it. General Appearance is her specialty that starts with an extremely correct front end assembly, and continues with the beautiful width and levelness across the topline that we love in our goats. She combines that with an extremely correct mammary system that is well attached. We always try to breed Cavetina in a way that we can add a little size, scale and length of body while maintaining those correctness strengths.
2020: After playing second fiddle to her pen buddy Zamara as a two-year-old, Cavetina started our delayed show season by beating Zamara in ring one. She went on to win Best in Show that day. Finishing the year with her milking star as well as becoming "GCH Cavetina". She is so similar to her Dam, Aria. She is bred to Accolade this fall.
2021: Cavetina gave us triplets, including two doe kids that look just like her - white belt and all. Turning 4 this year, she continued to mature and grow. She placed 9th at Nationals and appraised 91 EEEE. We plan to breed her to our new Jr. herdsire, Trademark.
2022: We got one live doe kid out of a rough kidding from Cavetina this year. We are thankful for both her and also that Cavetina recovered well. Cavetina did not show much this year due to age distribution/Champion challenger selections but when she did get out into the ring, she looked good. She started her show season off by placing 5th in the 5 & 6 year old class at Nationals. We then took her to some state fairs where we showed her 8 times and she was 1st place aged doe in 5 of those rings. This Summer she received her permanent score of 91 EEEE. Her daughter Cadence freshened and we were happy to see that Cavetina's udder came through on a much bigger framed doe. Cavetina will be bred to Octavious this year.
