Ziva is the second Atara daughter we have in the herd (Zamara) and a doe that we really appreciate her length of body and dairy strength - extremely flat boned and open. She also has the back end that we breed for - long, wide flat rump with beautiful set and strength to her rear legs.
2020: Ziva freshened with a really nice mammary system this year and followed in her big sister's footsteps by milking a TON. She went undefeated in the 11 rings we were able to show in this fall. Ziva will be bred to Olentangy Accolade Chimay this fall.
2021: Ziva had a single buck this spring. Even with a single, she was still able to milk 2786 in 279 days. We were really excited with how she did in the show ring. In Louisville, at Nationals, she placed 3rd in the 2-year old class. In our other shows she was 10x 1st, 1x 2nd, and 4x GCH. She finished her championship at our first show. In October, she appraised 90 VEVE. She will be bred to our new Jr herdsire - Olentangy Chimay Trademark this fall.
2022: Ziva freshened with triplets - 2 does and a buck. Both does will be retained. Ziva continued to mature nicely this year and scored 91 EEEE in August. She also finished 7th at Nationals in Harrisburg. Her other show record included 6x 1st, 2x GCH, and 1x BOB (the only doe to beat Zamara in Champion Challenge this year). She rivaled Zamara in the milkroom this year as one of our top milk producers. Ziva will be bred to Tempo Aquila Livingston this fall.
