We liked Halli so much we decided to repeat the breeding and we are so happy with the results. Another Artie daughter, Reggae is smoothly blended with a beautiful front end assembly. Her mammary system is easily her best feature. A beautiful shape with great overall area of udder attachment, wide rear udder and smoothly blended fore udder. We would like to give her a stronger set of rear pasterns but she has held up well over the years.
One thing we really appreciate about Reggae is her ability to produce daughters better then herself. Her 2018 daugher, Encore is one of our best does. Her 2017 daughter lives at a friends of ours in Colorado and is a finished champion in her own right. In 2022 we saw her third daughter freshen and she looks to be living up to the reputation her older sisters have started.
2020: Reggae has moved into retirement. Her udder is still as pretty as ever but her age is beginning to show and her daughters are starting to beat her. So while we may not bring her to many shows, she plays an important role for our herd as we continue to see her offspring make an impact in our herd as well as others.
2021: Quad does for Reggae this year. One, Sequel, will be staying with us.
2022: Another set of triplet does, two will be retained. We will be breeding Reggae to Harmody RHFR Zamara's Liron.
